Developments:
A paper I co-wrote with colleagues at UCLA has been published in the latest edition of AIDS and Behavior. 'Male Circumcision and HIV Prevention: Looking to the Future' maps out the policy challenges facing those implementing male circumcision programs. Male circumcision has been found to greatly reduce the risk of HIV transmission, but designing effective communication campaigns and delivery models will require careful attitudinal and behavioural research. I am currently writing a follow-up paper to this, which will focus on the communication strategies that are most likely to be effective in different settings.
